Watro Seeking Public Input on Local Issues

July 18, 2023

HAZLETON – In an effort to gather greater public input on local and state issues within the 116th Legislative District, Rep. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne) today announced a new initiative he’s calling “Face the Future.”

Starting the week of July 24, Watro and a local leader will walk the streets of Hazleton and other communities to talk with residents and business owners so he can learn about their concerns firsthand.

“I am looking forward to hitting the streets and meeting with our friends and neighbors to hear of their wants and needs,” said Watro. “I will then take that information back to Harrisburg as I fight for the best interests of the people and communities I am proud to represent.”

Any residents or businesses interested in scheduling a meeting as part of the “Face the Future” project should contact Watro’s office in downtown Hazleton at 570-453-1344.
