State Grants Awarded for Street Improvements in 116th Legislative District, Say Watro, Argall

HARRISBURG – State funding totaling more than $1.1 million for transportation infrastructure improvement projects in the Hazleton area and Kline Township, Schuylkill County, were awarded today, according to Rep. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Sen. David Argall (R-Schuylkill/Carbon/Luzerne). The two lawmakers played a key role in securing the grants through PennDOT’s Multimodal Transportation Fund.

Watro Named to House Agent Orange Task Force

HARRISBURG – Rep. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne) today announced he has been appointed to serve on the Pennsylvania Task Force on Agent Orange and Other Toxins in the House of Representatives by Republican Leader Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster). The task force was created earlier this year with the unanimous adoption of a bipartisan House resolution of which Watro was a co-sponsor.

HARRISBURG – Companion legislation to a bill sponsored by Reps. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Mike Cabell (R-Luzerne) that would allow delayed school enrollment in Pennsylvania for young children with autism passed in the Senate today.
