Watro, Argall Announce State Grant for CEBA Project in Shenandoah

HARRISBURG – Downtown Shenandoah Inc. (DSI) today was awarded a state grant of over $1.76 million to fund the second phase of a major redevelopment project in the borough’s business district, announced Rep. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Sen. Dave Argall (R-29). The two lawmakers worked together to secure the funding.

Schuylkill County Historical Society Awarded State Grant

HARRISBURG – The Schuylkill County Historical Society has been awarded a Cultural and Historical Support Grant in the amount of $8,000 by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC), according to Reps. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill), Jamie Barton (R-Berks/Schuylkill), Joanne Stehr (R-Northumberland/Schuylkill), Tim Twardzik (R-Schuylkill) and Sen. Dave Argall (R-29).

State Grants Awarded for Street Improvements in 116th Legislative District, Say Watro, Argall

HARRISBURG – State funding totaling more than $1.1 million for transportation infrastructure improvement projects in the Hazleton area and Kline Township, Schuylkill County, were awarded today, according to Rep. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Sen. David Argall (R-Schuylkill/Carbon/Luzerne). The two lawmakers played a key role in securing the grants through PennDOT’s Multimodal Transportation Fund.
